Mat Pilates

What are mat classes?

Just as the name suggests, mat pilates is a more traditional form of pilates taking place on an exercise mat. Our mat classes are hosted in local gyms as well as our home studio depending on your preferences. 

The exercises performed in mat classes are comprised of many core exercises focusing on building muscle and core strength. Exercises are complimented with weights, exercise balls & resistance bands to enhance intensity depending on your abilities.

How does it work?

Our pilates specialist will assess your goals as well as your physical ability before assigning you with a tailored program.

You will engage in exercise on pilates mats at controlled, low impact intervals. Your program will be amended depending on your personal development in order to accomodate your progression.
