Workshop Outline

Introduction (10-15 minutes)

  • A warm welcome to all participants !

  • Goals of the workshop: to understand the importance of nutrition, movement (Pilates), and breath work for overall health and well-being.

Session 1: Nutrition and its Role in Health (1 hour)

  • Presentation on the basics of nutrition and its impact on health.

  • The importance of a balanced diet, essential nutrients, and their functions.

  • The relationship between nutrition and common health issues.

  • Introduce the connection between certain massage techniques and improving bowel movement for better digestion and overall health.

  • Demonstration of simple and effective abdominal massage techniques to support healthy bowel movements.

  • Q&A session for participants to ask questions and share experiences related to nutrition and health.

* Break 1 (30 minutes) *

Session 2: Pilates and Movement for Health (1 hour)

  • Introduction to Pilates and its benefits for physical and mental health.

  • A lead Pilates session, focusing on fundamental movements that can be easily done by participants of all fitness levels.

  • Discussion on the importance of proper form and alignment during Pilates exercises.

  • Q&A session to address any concerns or queries about Pilates and its role in health.

Session 3: Breath Work for the Nervous System and Health (1 hour)

  • Significance of breath work in managing stress and improving overall well-being.

  • Guided breathing exercises, such as deep belly breathing, alternate nostril breathing, and breath awareness techniques.

  • Explanation on the connection between the breath, the nervous system, and its impact on health.

  • Q&A session to clarify any doubts about breath work and its role in maintaining health.
